UPSC IAS Medical Test

For the candidates who are successful in the UPSC exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, there are several stages. One such stage is of qualifying for the medical test. After qualifying for this particular test the candidates are said to be eligible for being an IAS officer.

• Some of the standard physical requirements are required for that such as the weight, height, chest etc.
• These requirements are even higher in selecting officers who are supposed to be appointed as the IPS of the district or the Indian Railway services, the police services of Pondicherry etc.

  Rule number 21 of the Union Public Service Commission highlights the point that an aspirant must be in good bodily and mental health and he or she must also be free from any physical flaws. Which can later interfere with the discharge of his responsibilities and duties.
